A dark comedy inspired by one of Bulgaria's great transition-era mysteries — the Tsarichina Hole. In the early 1990s, a team of high-ranking army officers, led by a clairvoyant, begins digging in search of a mystical artifact. The film turns Tsarichina into a universal metaphor — an ironic apotheosis of collective folly, recognisable anywhere in the world.
